OJÚSE (Responsibility)

Title: Ojúse (Responsibility) Size: 24/36 Medium: Sand, charcoal, oil and acrylic Status: Available ✅

OJÚSE “Responsibility” is a poignant and thought-provoking artwork that explores the weight and strength of fatherhood. The piece depicts a man sitting in contemplative repose, his eyes closed as he rests his head on his hand. The introspective posture conveys the weight of responsibility he carries.

The shadow on the wall behind him serves as a metaphor for the burdens that fathers often bear silently. The open window in the background, bathed in sunlight, symbolizes hope and the promise of a brighter future, which fathers strive to provide for their families.

The basket of fruits and clothes on the table beside him represents the provision and care that fathers work tirelessly to ensure. The juxtaposition of the serene, sunlit window with the man’s introspective demeanor highlights the contrast between the challenges of fatherhood and the rewards of providing for one’s family.

Through “Responsibility,” I aim to celebrate the strength and resilience of fathers, who often shoulder the weight of their family’s needs without complaint. This artwork is a tribute to the unsung heroes of our time, who work behind the scenes to build a better future for their loved ones.
