Are you the student who always knows what is happening on campus before anyone else?
OyoTimes is looking for bold, articulate, and passionate student journalists to lead our campus bureaus. This is not just an “ambassador” role where you share links. This is a reporting role. You will be the official voice of your institution on Oyo’s biggest digital platform.
🚀 The Role
You will serve as our eyes and ears on campus. Whether it is SUG elections, matriculation, hostel protests, or a viral campus trend, you will break the story.
📝 Responsibilities
- Report News: Write 1-2 weekly stories about events happening on your campus.
- Interview Leaders: Conduct interviews with SUG officials, departmental presidents, or talented students.
- Multimedia: Take photos or short videos of campus events for our social media.
- Distribute: Ensure OyoTimes stories reach your departmental and faculty WhatsApp groups.
✅ Requirements
- Must be a current student of a higher institution in Oyo (EAUE, FSS, FCES, Atiba, Ajayi Crowther, etc.).
- Studying Mass Communication, English, or any Arts/Social Science course is a plus (but not compulsory).
- Must own a smartphone and have a strong social media presence.
- Writing Sample: You must be able to write clear, error-free English.
