The era of manual land processing in Oyo State is coming to an end.
The State Government has announced the full deployment of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for land administration. This new tech-driven approach aims to eliminate the bottlenecks associated with obtaining Certificates of Occupancy (C of O) and building permits.
Mrs. Mofoluke Adebiyi, Executive Adviser on OYNTCDA, explained that the new spatial databases will ensure “equitable land allocation” and improve urban governance.
For investors and real estate developers in Oyo Town and Ibadan, this means faster approvals, transparent records, and a more secure business environment.
